On the morning of 10/26/2025, Madison County Deputies were dispatched to the area of East Eisenhower. It was reported that a white male, wearing black pants, a red sweatshirt, and a black backpack was attempting to enter a residence in the area. As Madison County Deputies were enroute, Stanton County Deputies heard the radio traffic and advised they were 2 miles away. Given Stanton County was closer to the area, they were asked to assist and proceeded into Madison County. As Stanton County attempted to have contact with the male suspect, later identified as 30-year-old, Chance D. Larsen of Pierce. Larsen ran northbound into a cornfield. Larsen ignored multiple verbal commands to stop during this time from Stanton County, and continued running through the cornfield. Due to this, a taser was deployed, making contact with Larsen’s lower back. Stanton County was able to detain Larsen at this time. Larsen was placed under arrest by Madison County Deputies. Larsen was booked into the Madison County Jail for the charges of First-Degree Trespassing, Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Resisting Arrest. |
