At approximately 4:45 PM on October 11th a three-vehicle accident occurred in the intersection of Highway 35 and Benjamin Avenue outside of Norfolk, NE.

 Two vehicles were northbound on Highway 35, when they collided with a westbound vehicle in the Benjamin Avenue intersection. All three vehicles were towed from the scene due to the damage sustained.

A Norfolk resident, Lupita Pena, and a Hoskins resident, Christian Heppner, were both transported to Faith Regional Hospital for their injuries.

The third driver, Kristina Betz of Norfolk, left the scene with minor injuries.

Two of the drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

The accident is currently being investigated by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and charges are pending.
