On May 3, 2026, Madison County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance near 1810 North Airport Road that led to a stabbing. Around 9:40 p.m., a woman called dispatch saying several people tried to assault her. She also reported that she stabbed one person during the incident. When deputies and a Nebraska State Patrol trooper arrived, they spoke with the caller near the scene. Other officers went to a nearby residence, where they found signs of a fight in and around a camper, including blood and evidence of a struggle. Later, Norfolk police found a vehicle connected to the incident at Faith Regional Health Services. The victim, a 36-year-old female from Norfolk, was being treated for two stab wounds to her arms, including a serious cut to one forearm. Investigators learned that several people had come to the property before the incident. According to statements, a verbal argument turned into a physical fight, during which a knife was used. Tianna White, 27, of South Dakota, was arrested on charges of first-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon. She was taken to the Madison County Jail. The incident remains under investigation.
